In order to reach the Carretera Austral we drove through a beautiful stretch of Argentina where we met our new friend Pavel from Jawa kolem sveta (Jawa Around the World) who we'd soon meet in much difficult situation. We drove around the vacation town of Bariloche and made our way southwest toward the border crossing with Chile near the town Futaleufu, which is known for its great white water rafting.
