Traveling down the river Perguica we came across more dunes. These were distinctly more yellow and compact than the previous dunes we've visited. Here instead of the sand threatening the surrounding greenery I felt the jungle and the adjacent river had these compact dunes surrounded. There were the occasional fisherman, wooden huts sprinkled along the river shore and in the distant marshes a herd of cows.
